Is it safe to unzip files online?

Files are uploaded over HTTPS, extracted on our server, and automatically deleted one hour after upload. We don't require an account, we don't run ads, and we never open or index the contents of your archives.

Can I extract password-protected archives?

Yes. If an archive is password-protected you'll be prompted to enter the password, and extraction continues from there. RAR, 7Z and standard encrypted ZIP files are supported.

What is the maximum file size?

Up to 2 GB per archive.

Do I need WinRAR or 7-Zip installed?

No. Everything runs in your browser plus our server — there is nothing to install, which is the whole point. It works the same on Windows, macOS, Linux, and phones.

How long do you keep my files?

One hour, then they are deleted automatically. There is no way for us or anyone else to retrieve them after that.
